As an Operations Manager at Youwe, you are at the heart of the organization’s core processes. You translate vision and strategy into daily operations and contribute to a financially healthy organization. You ensure processes run smoothly and that teams have the right capacity to succeed. You bring structure, clarity, and consistency to operations and act as a role model within the organization. You actively collaborate with other Operations Managers to share best practices and harmonize ways of working.

The scope of responsibilities:

• People & HR Management: Guiding employees (app. 30 FTE) in their growth and development, conducting one-on-one meetings, and managing the full employee lifecycle (from onboarding to offboarding).
• Sales & Delivery Connection: You act as a bridge between Sales and Delivery. You understand what’s happening with clients, their challenges and opportunities, and work with Sales to translate these into (potential) new products and services (focus area for Operations Manager in Rotterdam)
• Project Support: Supporting teams (especially Delivery Managers) and acting as an escalation point when challenges arise. You analyze project performance and ensure projects are delivered not only within budgeted hours, but also in line with agreed KPIs and quality standards.
• Strategy & Process Optimization: Translating the organization’s mission, vision, and strategy into actionable plans for Delivery. You bring structure to chaos, identify risks early, challenge teams in a constructive way, and stimulate bottom-up innovation.

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a mid-sized to large agency, comparable IT organization, or complex client environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a drive for continuous process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and senior-level stakeholder management. You can balance different interests and are not afraid to push back when needed.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance hours, quality, and profitability. You understand your clients’ business processes.
• A decisive leader who inspires trust, enables teams, and creates a safe and motivating work environment.
• Strong internal stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
