Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant with a strong background in accounting, taxation, and financial regulations to lead financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in accounting and auditing, with prior S1/S2 level experience in a Big 4 or reputable audit firm. This role requires expertise in IFRS, GAAP, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks, ensuring financial accuracy and business integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting, Tax, Audit & Financial Reporting:

1. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulations.

2. Manage the general ledger, month-end closing, and financial reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.

3. Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, regulatory filings, and tax obligations.

4. Stay updated on financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards, implementing necessary adjustments.

5. Work closely with tax consultants and auditors to optimize tax planning strategies and rules update.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is required.

3. 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and auditing.

4. Prior S1/S2 level experience in a Big 4 or reputable audit firm.

5. Strong expertise in IFRS, GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.

6. Extensive knowledge of corporate tax, VAT/GST, and regulatory compliance.

7. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and financial reporting tools.

8. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage, especially for working with regional teams.
