Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant with a strong background in accounting, taxation, and financial regulations to lead financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in accounting and auditing, with prior S1/S2 level experience in a Big 4 or reputable audit firm. This role requires expertise in IFRS, GAAP, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks, ensuring financial accuracy and business integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting, Tax, Audit & Financial Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulations.
• Manage the general ledger, month-end closing, and financial reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, regulatory filings, and tax obligations.
• Stay updated on financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards, implementing necessary adjustments.
• Work closely with tax consultants and auditors to optimize tax planning strategies and rules update.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is required.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and auditing.
• Prior S1/S2 level experience in a Big 4 or reputable audit firm.
• Strong expertise in IFRS, GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of corporate tax, VAT/GST, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and financial reporting tools.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage, especially for working with regional teams.
