At Wolters Kluwer, we are looking for a strategic and technically minded Business Architect to support large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives across Europe. This is a high-impact role for a senior professional who can bridge business priorities, enterprise architecture, and technology delivery within a global matrix organization.
You will play a key role in shaping solution direction, enabling enterprise platform adoption, and driving alignment between business and IT stakeholders across multiple countries and domains.
The Role
As a Business Architect, you will operate as a senior individual contributor responsible for business architecture and enterprise solution analysis across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
You will partner closely with business leaders, enterprise architects, engineering teams, and technology stakeholders to define scalable solution approaches that support strategic business objectives.
The role combines business architecture, stakeholder engagement, enterprise systems analysis, and governance responsibilities, with strong visibility across the European organization.
What You Will Do
- Translate business strategy and operational challenges into scalable business and technology solution approaches
- Partner with senior business and IT stakeholders to define and align enterprise initiatives
- Support enterprise platform onboarding initiatives across multiple European countries
- Drive business architecture and business systems analysis activities for enterprise-scale transformation programs
- Review and challenge solution designs, integration approaches, and application landscapes
- Facilitate alignment between business requirements, architecture direction, and technical implementation
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Product, and Operations teams on complex cross-domain initiatives
- Lead workshops, solution discussions, and stakeholder alignment sessions
- Contribute to governance processes, architecture standards, and enterprise transformation initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor in solution discussions involving enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce
Your Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in Business Systems Analysis, Business Architecture, Solution Analysis, or Enterprise Transformation roles
- Proven experience operating within complex enterprise and matrix organizations
- Strong understanding of enterprise application landscapes, integrations, and business process alignment
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or similar ecosystems
- Ability to understand and assess solution designs, integration patterns, and high-level architecture concepts
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or enterprise onboarding initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Professional English communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
- Residence in the Netherlands or Belgium with a valid work permit
Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
- Exposure to governance and enterprise architecture processes
- Experience working within Agile or SAFe environments
