Senior Product Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Marketer to lead the marketing strategy for the Legisway Suite of management solutions for corporate legal departments in Europe. Are you someone who enjoys diving into software? Can you translate product propositions into compelling storylines for marketing, sales, and support? And do you also enjoy presenting products and developments in a lively way through videos and blogs? Then we would love to talk to you!

The role:
As the Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you will be the link between product management and marketing. You will have knowledge of our products, market conditions, competition, and of course, our customers. Based on that, you will develop a vision for positioning our product portfolio, translating product features into compelling commercial messages and content that will strengthen our brand and boost sales.

An ability to grasp and present our product’s value proposition in a way that resonates with the market and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems will be critical to your success.

In this role, you will play an integral role in updating the market and our customers about product launches/releases, creating product content and collaborating with the marketing team on innovative programs that drive demand. Ultimately, your goal will be to define the right strategy for how we speak about our products and ensure our entire organization is aligned around it.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Intelligence: Understand and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use this knowledge to inform marketing strategies.

  • Product Positioning: Together with Product Management, develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our product in the market. Research and develop buyer personas, document our buyer’s journey, their pain points, and unique buying reasons, and craft messaging that resonates.

  • Content Creation: Define messaging & creative concepts for campaigns, detail crafting of product content (e.g., product videos, website copy, blog posts) following established brand design systems, and coordinate execution & quality control of creative production, either independently, with your marketing colleagues, or with agencies.

  • Campaign Enablement: Lead the marketing strategy for promoting our product across Europe, co-plan and execute campaigns to drive product awareness and adoption, including launches, releases and migrations, together with field and central marketing services teams. This can include digital campaigns, events, webinars, and partnerships.

  • Sales Enablement: Support with equipping the sales team with the necessary tools and materials to sell our products effectively. This includes training sessions, product collateral, and custom sales strategies.

  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, gain insight, and assess against goals. Regularly update management teams with reports and provide context and key takeaways on product marketing initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Providing substantive input on our software and customer insights to colleagues. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product management, sales, marketing operations) and external stakeholders (e.g., customers, partners) to maximize product impact.

About The Team

You will be part of an international team with the manager located in Rome, Italy. Your stakeholder field spans several countries with colleagues located in France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Italy.

About You
You are an experienced professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Product Marketing. You have the following competencies:

  • Proven experience in product marketing, product management, strategic market planning, or a related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.

  • Creativity & a keen eye for detail: a background in creative direction, design and copywriting

  • Experience with competitor analysis and market research is a plus

  • Analytical and exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working

  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!

  • Excellent communication skills - must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, able to engage, persuade and build buy-in with stakeholders.

  • Comfortable using productivity/collaboration (MS Office, Teams) and CRM tools (Salesforce) and curiosity to test new ways of work (GenAI)

  • Fluency in English. Any other language (French, Dutch, German, Spanish) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of the legal sector and/or software is a plus

  • Travel requirements: Up to 20% travel within Europe
