As a Legal Content Specialist, you will drive the (digital) content strategy in the fields of Competition, European and Trade law. Leveraging your expertise, both re. subject matter and (content) technology, you'll develop partnerships, acquire content and manage projects to build content that differentiates us in the market and is the basis for any (GenAI) tools. As a thought leader you will regularly present the business at events.
Responsibilities:
Drive the roadmap of content acquisition from new product ideation to proposals including major redevelopments of existing content
Build strategic content partnerships with authors and organizations, including negotiation of contracts and development of budgets for the acquisition of content
Develop high-quality content
Utilize analytics to inform content strategies and decision-making
Collaborate with designers and developers for content presentation
Ensure editorial tools are utilized effectively to manage content
Train and mentor junior team members in content management
Track competitor and market trends both in subject matter and technology to keep content relevant
Represent the business at events as a thought leader
Skills:
Strategy: ability to develop a content strategy that differentiates us in the market with our content proposition and product
Project Management: Ability to manage content projects from start to finish
Networking: Ability to develop network with authors and organizations
Negotiating: Ability to negotiate with leading practitioners/academics and organizations
Data Analytics: Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data
Collaborative Coordination: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Editorial systems Advanced Use: In-depth knowledge of Editorial systems
Trend Analysis: Ability to research and apply industry trends both re. subject matter and technology
Mentorship: Skills in guiding and mentoring junior staff
Representation: Ability to represent the organization as a thought leader at events
Experience:
5+ years’ experience as a content developer or equivalent experience in legal or publishing industries
Legal practice, legal industry and/or publishing experience
Demonstrated understanding of technology that supports legal research
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated project management, networking and presentation skills
Strong commercial awareness
