Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on UX Delivery Manager to manage Discover & Design initiatives across the organization. In this role you will act as the project manager for large, strategic initiatives run by the UX team, ensuring that stakeholders are aligned and that Lean Principles are applied pragmatically throughout the organization. This means that you will balance a project management role and coaching role to ensure that our Lean methodologies are applied pragmatically in a dynamic, fast-changing environment. You will work cross-functionally to ensure initiatives are well-planned, resourced, and aligned with divisional goals, ultimately enabling teams to deliver impactful, customer-centric solutions.
Responsibilities
Project Management and coaching role for Discover & Design initiatives across Wolters Kluwer
- Planning, tracking and stakeholder alignment of research initiatives.
- Planning, tracking and stakeholder alignment of pre- and post-design workshop activities.
- Coaching on pragmatically implementing Lean Principles.
- Ensure stakeholders have budgeted other roles (tech and business roles) to ensure successful implementation of created solutions, solving our customer’s problems.
Ensure alignment with division-wise initiatives and return learnings to divisional efforts
- Ensure proper use of the Product Design System.
- Ensure our Lean Principles are followed.
- Other operational items, such as tooling.
- Standardize workflows in the division to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Drive change in the organization from feature driven product development to value driven
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communication & Multimedia Design/Media Technology, Information Architecture or related or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in working in a Project Management or Strategic UX Design role
- Intermediate knowledge of software technology is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, planning, development and business skills
- Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated by ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with high expectations and little oversight
- Being able to add structure in a rapid growing team of creative minded User Experience professionals without limiting the required creative space
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and interact with upper management
