Java API Microservices integration

Job Title: Kafka Developer + SRE (Java / Spring Boot)

Band - B3

Location - Pune

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Spring Boot microservices integrated with Kafka
  • Build Kafka producers/consumers, streams, and event pipelines
  • Design event-driven architectures for high-throughput, low-latency systems
  • Optimize application and Kafka performance (latency, throughput, retries)
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support reliability improvements
  • Collaborate with SRE/DevOps teams for deployment, monitoring, and scaling
  • Ensure code quality, testing, and CI/CD integration

Required Skills:

  • Strong Java (8+) + Spring Boot (microservices, REST APIs)
  • Hands-on Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, Kafka Streams, Connect)
  • Solid understanding of event-driven & distributed systems
  • Experience with API design, messaging patterns, and data streaming
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
