Tygron is a Dutch software company, founded in 2005. They develop the Tygron Geodesign Platform, cloud-based software that enables users to generate their own dynamic 3D models based on GEO data and calculation models. The software is fast, interactive, and visual and therefore very suitable to involve stakeholders (including non-experts) directly in considerations. The consequences of an intervention in their living environment are immediately transparent, so that stakeholders can have a well-informed say. The latter is an important point for us. They believe that the Tygron Platform allows the processes to run faster and more transparently and thus promote democracy. Precisely for these reasons, there are more and more municipalities, provinces, water boards, and consultants who use the Tygron Platform to support area development.
