About the Role

Tronox is seeking an experienced Administrator to join the team at out Cooljarloo Mine Site on a full time, permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity for people living locally.

Our Cooljarloo mine site is located near Cataby, 190km north of the CBD. The mine offers a range of lifestyle options including the opportunity to reside in coastal towns such as Lancelin or Jurien Bay, or alternatively employees can stay in our new camp based accommodation nearby whilst rostered on a nine (9) day fortnight where you will be home every weekend.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform reception duties to ensure compliance with site access and induction protocols
  • Provides administrative support for operational teams
  • Provides administrative support to Cooljarloo camp and houses as required
  • Help in maintaining documentation associated with: safety actions, business plans, operational reports, communication newsletters, etc. as required
  • Maintain the site sharepoint site and related links
  • General duties such as: creating purchase orders, work orders, work requests, general support etc
  • Help in organising meetings and the subsequent collation and follow up of minutes and actions
  • Manage and organise supplies and consumables (PPEs, stationeries, crib room supplies, etc.)
  • Support organising site functions and events

About you:

  • 1+ years’ experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge
  • Experience with SAP (advantageous but not necessary)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working within the mining industry would be highly advantageous
