Transparency International is a non-profit organization that aims to stop corruption and promote transparency, accountability, and integrity to all levels and across all sectors of society. Through more than 90 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, Transparency International raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in governments, businesses, and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it. Transparency International was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Berlin, Germany.
