You will supply solutions (buffers and media) for upstream and downstream campaigns via GMP Manufacturing. You will drive the operational heartbeat of our manufacturing plant by ensuring our cleanrooms are flawlessly staged and supplied. Your impact will be felt daily through the precise staging and kitting of single-use assemblies, raw materials, and sterile components required for complex upstream and downstream manufacturing. By maintaining rigorous inventory controls, optimizing materials flow into classified spaces, and managing cGMP waste streams safely, you prevent costly process bottlenecks and enable our core manufacturing teams to execute their runs seamlessly and safely.

A Day in the Life:

  • Attend the morning Tier 1 shift huddle to review the day's production campaign schedule and cross-reference material inventory.

  • Step into a MFG suite to measure raw chemical components or execute a 500 L bioreactor growth-media preparation.

  • Perform in-process testing (pH, conductivity, Osmolarity along with Endotoxin/bioburden sampling) on the finished solution before sterile-filtering it directly into a storage tote for the upstream team.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field.

  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • cGMP Solution Preparation & Formulation: Proficiency in weighing raw chemicals, calculating mass/volume metrics, and operating specialized equipment (e.g., mixers, floor scales, SUMs, pH/Conductivity Meters and sterile filtration assemblies) to formulate media and buffers.

  • Aseptic Technique & Sterilization Operations: Working knowledge of cleanroom behavior, contamination controls, and the operation of MFG mixing equipment.

  • Good Documentation Practices (GDP): Exceptional attention to detail in real-time documentation, with the ability to accurately complete batch records, equipment logs, and material tracking forms to maintain flawless regulatory compliance.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Heavy lifting and material handling: Constantly lifting, scooping, and pouring chemical powder bags weighing up to 50 lbs, and pushing/pulling wheeled tanks/totes.

  • Prolonged standing and mobility: Spending 75% to 90% of a 12-hour shift on your feet, which includes frequent bending, squatting, and reaching to connect cleanroom equipment lines.
