In this hands-on marketing role, you’ll be turning our brand and mission into value for us and our partners. Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Brand Partnerships, you’ll manage key global and regional partnerships, track progress, and help shape strategy for new ones.
We’re a small team with a big mission. You’ll need to get stuck in and think through the details. You’ll work with teams across comms, PR, research and funding, creating shared goals to hit your own targets. Prioritising your workload to deliver maximum impact is a must.

THE ASSIGNMENT
The ideal candidate will contribute to our success by helping increase the win-rate on partnership pitches through clear, consistent, and high-performing co-branded materials. Acting as account manager, you will manage the relationship from a marketing perspective, making sure we meet the standard our partners expect while maximizing value for both The Ocean Cleanup and our partners. You will also build early relationships at conferences that grow our marketing lead pipeline, bring structure to our KPI reporting, and work closely with the Marketing Manager - Brand Partnerships to strengthen how our impact is communicated.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support key partner accounts: Act as the day-to-day marketing contact for key global and regional partners, managing the relationship to meet partner expectations and maximise value on both sides.
- Build partner-facing materials: Put together decks, one-pagers and case studies that help partners and prospects understand our impact and get behind it.
- Support value propositions and pitches: Work with the Marketing Manager - Brand Partnerships to shape value propositions and materials for prospects across different industries.
- Represent us in partner conversations: Join meetings with partner marketing teams and prospects, understand their needs, and turn those into workable co-branded ideas.
- Build our conference presence: Represent The Ocean Cleanup at relevant industry conferences and events, and turn those connections into a marketing-led partnership pipeline.
- Co-create partner campaigns: Collaborate with partners on joint communications and marketing campaigns that honour both the partner’s brand and ours.
- Manage content roll-out and distribution: Coordinate approvals and manage how campaign content is produced and distributed across our owned channels, ambassador channels and partner platforms, keeping timing on track.
- Support in activating campaigns involving events, talent, ambassadors, influencers and brand partners.
- Track and report on KPIs: Maintain our partner marketing KPI reporting and keep the team and partners informed on what’s working.
- Own our project management tool: Keep the team’s project management tool up to date and running smoothly so we can plan and deliver partner marketing work on time.
- Be the go-to for day-to-day partner needs: Handle asset approvals, timelines and coordination across partner marketing projects, stepping in wherever the work needs doing.
Required
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications or partnerships, ideally with a background in partner marketing, brand marketing, marketing operations or event marketing.
- Comfortable working independently, juggling multiple partner projects at once, and moving fast in a lean team.
- Tech savvy and comfortable with reporting tools and dashboards to track and communicate KPIs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Organised and detail oriented.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong writing skills, especially for shaping value propositions, partner narratives and pitch decks.
- Experience coordinating and managing external agencies, production partners or creative collaborators.
- Experience managing influencer, ambassador or talent campaigns.
- Strong curiosity for culture and entertainment globally.
- Ability to balance creativity with operational considerations.
- Spanish proficiency, in addition to English.
