The Role
As Coordinator Institutional Partnerships and Major Giving (IP&MG), you will play a central role in supporting donor engagement and funding processes within our Engagement department. Working as part of a small and collaborative team, you will help drive smooth internal coordination, maintain critical donor and pipeline data, track funding opportunities, and support the timely delivery of high-quality donor applications and communications.
The Team
You will work closely with colleagues across Programmes, Finance, and Partnerships & Quality (P&Q), ensuring information flows efficiently and planning stays on track. From managing Salesforce and calendars to coordinating workflows and supporting strategic fundraising efforts, your contribution will help the organisation operate more effectively and maximise its impact worldwide.
The Coordinator IP&MG reports to the Manager IP&MG and is part of the IP&MG team within the Engagement department.
Result Areas and Core Activities
Your job is to ensure smooth coordination of donor engagement, funding opportunities, and internal collaboration to support high-quality
fundraising and partnership processes.
To do this you will:
- Work proactively and independently, taking initiative, improving processes, and managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Maintain and analyse donor and pipeline data in Salesforce, generating reports and tracking funding opportunities.
- Coordinate collaboration between IP&MG, Programmes, Finance, and P&Q teams to support the timely delivery of high-quality donor applications and reports.
- Support donor communications and internal updates on proposal and fundraising progress.
- Research new funding opportunities, institutional donors, foundations, and major givers.
- Review proposals for quality, consistency, donor compliance, and overall competitiveness.
- Maintain planning tools and team calendars, while identifying relevant sector events and networking opportunities.
- Gather programme impact stories and data for donor communications and marketing materials.
What you bring?
The ideal candidate will be an organised and proactive coordinator with strong communication skills, experience managing data and workflows, and the ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
More specifically:
- Five years of working experience in an international setting;
- Minimum Secondary Vocational Education (MBO) working and thinking level;
- Strong organisational and communication skills;
- Proactive and hands-on attitude;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Good planning and coordination skills;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) is a must, Dutch is an asset.
What we offer
- A 1-year contract with the intention of extending to a permanent contract.
- Salary scale 9, ranging between €3,880.06 - €4,942.49 gross per month based on a full-time (36-hour) workweek, depending on your experience.
- Flexible working with a hybrid model (50% from the office and 50% from home).

- 25 days of annual leave based on full-time employment.
