What to expect- Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Personnel Security Specialist to join our global security team. This mid-level role is responsible for managing personnel screening, travel security, and event security across all regions. The successful candidate will also serve as a backup for other team members and lead or support ad-hoc security projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Personnel Screening:
  • Oversee and coordinate background checks, vetting processes, and onboarding security protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Travel Security:
  • Assess travel risks and provide guidance and support to employees traveling to risk areas.
  • Threat intelligence and reporting
• Event Security:
  • Deliver risk assessments for corporate events globally
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and more senior colleagues to plan and implement mitigation actions
• Team Support & Backup:
  • Ability to backup for other team members during absences or peak periods.
  • Maintain cross-functional knowledge to ensure continuity of operations.
• Ad-Hoc Projects:
  • Lead or contribute to special security initiatives, including policy updates, training programs, and technology implementations.
  • Provide analytical input and project management support.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree required: bachelor’s or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate security, personnel security, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical dynamics and risk management.
• Experience with travel risk assessment and event security planning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Project management/change management experience is a plus.
• Advanced technical skills in Excel is a plus
