We are seeking an initiative-taking and highly motivated Operations Optimization Intern to assist in streamlining business processes and creating operational procedures across various departments. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about process governance, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.

This is an excellent learning opportunity in the field of Technology & IT Governance.

What to Expect:

In this role you will:

• Process Analysis & Mapping:
  Assist in mapping and analyzing current business processes across different departments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
• Documentation & Procedure Creation:
  Support the creation and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process workflows, ensuring they are clear, up-to-date, and aligned with best practices
• Process Optimization:
  Participate in process optimization projects by suggesting improvements, implementing best practices, and supporting efforts to automate repetitive tasks.
• Process Governance Support:
  Assist in ensuring that all processes adhere to company governance standards, compliance regulations, and quality control measures
• Data Collection & Reporting:
  Help gather data related to process performance and contribute to reports and presentations on process efficiency, performance metrics, and improvements
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
  Work closely with different teams (Core Operations, Finance, IT, etc.) to understand their processes and gather feedback on existing operational procedures
• Continuous Improvement:
  Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by researching industry trends, tools, and methodologies to propose new solutions and efficiencies

What will make you successful:

We are seeking professionals with:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes and procedures clearly

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile) is a plus

• Experience with Copilot, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow is highly desirable
