Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Customer Engineer with a background in semiconductors to join our technical support and customer success team. In this role, you will act as a key technical liaison between our product development teams and our customers across Central Europe, ensuring optimal integration, performance, and application of our semiconductor solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and solutions to customers in pre-sales and post-sales stages.
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable semiconductor products or systems.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and product marketing teams to align customer needs with product features.
  • Develop and deliver product presentations, technical documentation, and training.
  • Support design-in efforts for customer projects (e.g., embedded systems, power electronics, RF).
  • Conduct in-depth technical problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in field trials, customer visits, and technical workshops across the region.
  • Stay current with semiconductor trends, applications, and competitive landscape.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor applications, support, or product engineering.
  • Solid knowledge of analog/digital electronics, ICs, power devices, or embedded systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in debugging hardware/software systems.
  • Fluent in English; German or another Central European language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel (~25–40%) across Central Europe.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

  • Customer-focused: Strong commitment to supporting clients and understanding their needs from a system and business perspective.
  • Clear communicator: Able to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative spirit: Works well with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, and product marketing.
  • Cultural adaptability: Comfortable working in diverse, multinational environments across Central Europe.
  • Reliability: Dependable, structured, and consistent in delivering high-quality work on time.
