To support our growth (and grow further!) we are looking for a new Mechanical Engineer (full time, 40 hours) to join our team in Delft!

What you will be doing...
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software
• Build and test prototypes to validate and refine designs
• Ensure functionality, manufacturability, and assembly feasibility
• Collaborate with physicists, engineers, and the assembly team
• Support the development of full-scale high-tech systems

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a high-tech R&D environment, contributing directly to the next generation of quantum technology hardware.

We are looking for someone who has...

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
• Strong skills in CAD design and understanding of engineering principles;
• Hands-on mindset: you like building, assembling, and tinkering with components;
• Accuracy, problem-solving skills, and ownership of your work.
  

The following working experiences are a plus:

• Experience in a professional drafting or design team;
• Background in precision mechanics;
• Previous work in assembly or prototyping environments.
