Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated (account executive) to join our growing team, for 32-40 hours per week. If keeping up contact with existing clients, building relationships with potential clients, and searching for new client opportunities is what drives you, this is the job for you. As an (account executive) at Signpost Six you will play a pivotal role in business development, by qualifying leads, keeping the sales pipeline running, and making sure all interactions and information are properly documented. You will get the chance to engage with clients from various industries such as logistics, finance and tech, but don’t worry, you won’t be doing this alone! You will work closely together with other dedicated sales colleagues, as well as liaising with the whole Signpost Six team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keeping up a healthy sales pipeline: You will be responsible for keeping our Hubspot environment up to date. This includes collecting and checking lead/client information, documenting interactions with clients, and completing/assigning tasks.
  • Relationship management: You will be one of the points of contact for our clients, or potential clients. You thrive on meeting prospects and establishing a long-term relationship. We don’t reach out from a sales perspective; we are instead interested in how we can help and advise clients from a consultancy perspective.
  • Project Management: You will manage various accounts, ensuring their smooth progression through our sales pipeline. This role is pivotal as you’ll be the bridge between our commercial team and our insider risk consultants. Your responsibilities include:
  • Regular Interaction with Consultants: You’ll work closely with our consultants to gain deep insights into client needs, ensuring that our solutions are tailored and effective. This collaboration helps in refining our service offerings and client interactions.
  • Lead Nurturing: Beyond just managing the pipeline, you’ll focus on nurturing leads through personalized communication, ensuring they feel valued and understood throughout their journey with us.
  • Post-Project Engagement: After project completion, your role extends to ensuring client satisfaction. This involves follow-ups, gathering feedback, and setting the stage for future engagements or referrals.
  • Business development: You have an eye for missed opportunities and know just the way to approach clients for whom it wasn’t the right place and time, as well as prospective clients who may not know about us yet. You know how to tailor a pitch, and when a prospect might not be a good fit after all.
  • Communication and innovation: You are able to communicate with various stakeholders, both internally and externally. You have a knack of explaining what we do in an enticing and clear way, both to C-Level executives as to IT admins. You also see places for improvement process-wise, which will make Signpost Six even more efficient.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a B2B environment. Experience in the geopolitical or International Relations sector is a big plus.
  • Language Skills: English fluency is required; proficiency in Dutch is an added bonus
  • Record keeping: administrative tasks are no problem for you. Of course, we aim to keep those to a minimum, however keeping accurate records of exchanged information and agreements is necessary for everything to flow smoothly.
  • Outgoing and customer oriented: You are an extrovert by nature and love to meet with and learn about new people. You have a professional stance and know how to keep a prospect engaged in the long term. You think with our customers to find a solution that works for them, instead of pushing a one size fits all package.
  • Goal oriented: You are motivated by hitting targets and improving yourself and processes continuously. You have a talent for negotiation and persuasion and are motivated by set goals.
