As a Financial Analyst, you will support financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis for the business unit. You will track financial results against plan, analyze business performance and market trends, support forecasting activities, and provide insights that help management make informed tactical and strategic decisions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide transparent and comprehensive controlling support to the Business Unit, ensuring the effective execution and continuous optimization of key financial processes, including forecasting, budgeting, month-end closing, performance reviews, KPI monitoring, and reporting activities to meet business needs.
- Lead the Month-End Closing process for the Business Unit, ensuring financial books and records are accurate, auditable, and fully compliant with IFRS standards, while supporting balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts such as Accounts Receivable (AR), BIE/CIE, and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Manage the planning cycle by coordinating monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, ensuring accurate financial projections and alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare and analyze monthly controlling reports covering headcount, cost centers, productivity, warranty and closeout reserves, new orders, and other key business performance indicators to support decision-making.
- Support internal and external audit activities, collaborating with stakeholders to provide accurate financial information, ensure compliance, and address audit requirements efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the extended finance community to enhance reporting processes, improve standard reports and data quality, meet reporting deadlines, and support the transformation toward a digital controlling environment through the implementation of modern tools, employee training, and digitalization initiatives.
What You Bring
- BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance or related field required.
- 6+ years of accounting/finance experience is required.
- Expert-level financial, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills are required, including proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Alteryx.
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, and ad hoc analysis, ideally within a multinational corporate controlling environment.
- A strong digitalization and IT background is essential for this role. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with financial systems, process automation, and data analytics tools, with SAP and Alteryx being required.
- Advanced English proficiency.
