Join us as an Account Manager within Grid Technologies, where you will play a pivotal role in managing key Transmission and Distribution accounts in the UK. Imagine driving sales growth while ensuring customer satisfaction through your strong energy sector knowledge and relationship-building skills. You will co-develop and execute a long-term account plan with your customers, working closely with the global Key Account team and various internal stakeholders to foster a unified strategic partnership. Your proactive approach will not only identify business opportunities but also enhance the overall customer experience.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive account plan for a major transmission company, adapting it through regular stakeholder reviews to meet evolving needs.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with Scottish clients by understanding customer requirements and aligning solutions accordingly.
  • Drive sales growth across the Grid Technologies portfolio in Scotland by identifying opportunities, shaping strategies, and consistently meeting targets.
  • Act as the main point of contact for transmission customers, coordinating communications, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction through ongoing engagement.
  • Provide valuable market insights through research and analysis, supporting strategic decisions and identifying growth areas within major transmission companies.

What You Bring

  • Solid experience in account management, sales, business development, or project management within the energy sector, ideally in grid technologies or power transmission and distribution.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of large organizations, including senior leadership.
  • Deep understanding of the energy market, particularly the GB & Ire electricity Transmission System Operator and Utility landscape.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a track record of meeting sales targets and driving growth.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a wider team.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK - mainly Scotland and occasionally internationally, with proven experience in a similar role.
