Do you want to work on the automation and digitalization of international harbor cranes? As an IT/OT Engineer at Siemens Cranes, you are involved in the full lifecycle, from design and realization to commissioning, support and maintenance of IT and OT networks and OT datacenter components.

Role description
As part of the IT discipline within the Cranes department, you take ownership of IT/OT networks and cybersecurity within projects. Projects typically last 1 to 2 years, with development in the Netherlands and Germany, pre-commissioning in China and final delivery at customer locations worldwide.

Your responsibilities

  • Implementing and managing IT/OT network architectures
  • Applying and maintaining cybersecurity best practices
  • Integrating PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems and virtualization solutions
  • Providing troubleshooting and support during commissioning
  • Ensuring compliance with Siemens and industry standards
  • Driving technical innovation and improvement
  • Training customers and service teams

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
  • Experience with IT/OT networks, cybersecurity and datacenter environments
  • Affinity with IEC 62443 and ISO cybersecurity standards
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Experience with Active Directory and cloud environments
  • Professional proficiency in English
