What is the role?

You will be a vital lubricant technical expert in our technical and service team, focusing on key sectors including Petrochemical, Mining, and Power. Your expertise will bridge advanced technical solutions with real-world customer challenges, driving reliability and performance for heavy industry customers. This role is ideal for a technical professional passionate about hands-on problem-solving and continuous improvement in high-stakes environments.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide specialized technical support for lubricant application and solution in the petrochemical, mining, and power industries.

• Conduct on-site equipment audits and diagnostics to identify customer needs and propose tailored technical solutions.

• Collaborate with sales and service experts to deliver end-to-end technical guidance during project execution.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their operational challenges and offering proactive support.

• Prepare clear and detailed technical reports and case studies to document solutions and outcomes.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical and service methodologies documentation.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, or a related major.

• At least 5 years of practical experience in lubricant technical support, or maintenance and engineering within the Petrochemical, Mining, or Power sectors.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions for complex technical challenges.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively in English.

• Willingness to travel frequently for on-site customer support and project collaboration.

This annual production of Changbei amounts 17% of the natural gas supply of Beijing in 2019.

• the world-class CSPC (CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Limited ) is one of the largest sino-foreign petrochemical joint ventures in China.

• Shell Energy China (SEC) is one of the first wholly owned foreign entities to participate in the China’s carbon emissions market, and is one of the first foreign entities that have registered to trade in the China’s power market.
