Location: Delft, Netherlands. Perform fault injection (FI) to assess product security by manipulating device behavior to access protected assets. Role includes collaborating with code/hardware reviewers, hands‑on lab experiments, result analysis, and reporting; training provided leading to independent evaluator role. Activities: understand product architecture and target operations; prepare samples (mechanical/chemical decapsulation, chip thinning, test boards); write test scripts (typically JavaScript) to run on FI setups (VM, BBI, EMFI, lasers); analyze experiment outcomes; write technical reports; contribute to tool development and R&D of new attacks. Requirements: BSc/MSc in Electronics/Physics/Electrical Engineering; interest in lab work and test equipment; analytical/team mindset; FI/circuit experience helpful but not mandatory; strong English communication.
