Salary: £10.85per hour plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Part time 16 hours per week, flexible to work different shifts including earlies, lates, weekends and bank holidays.

As an Operations Assistant in our Citizen Services team, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming and well‑run environment where customers can enjoy high‑quality leisure services. From day‑to‑day operations to customer care, your work will have a positive impact on the communities we serve.
This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key part in keeping the centre running smoothly, supporting planned activities, and making sure every customer feels safe, supported and valued. What you’ll do as an Operations Assistant
You’ll be entrusted to:
Ensure customer safety at all times by preventing accidents and responding appropriately to incidents
Supervise dry‑side activities, maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and customer care
Set up and handle equipment safely to support programmed activities
Carry out cleaning tasks and monitor cleanliness in customer‑critical areas such as changing rooms, health suite and toilets
Monitor customer behaviour within the centre, addressing unsafe practices promptly and professionally
Deliver consistently high levels of customer service and maintain strong knowledge of the centre’s services and activities

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
Experience working in a busy leisure or customer‑facing environment
Confidence dealing with high volumes of customers, including adults and children
A strong focus on safety, responsibility and attention to detail
A positive, team‑focused approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
The willingness to undertake training and maintain required qualifications
