Multi Skilled Operative

Location: Lincoln
Salary: £33,393 plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Full time 40hours per week, working hours between 7am – 3.30pm, mandatory overtime required.

Ready to impact a better future?
As a Multi Skilled Operative in our Secure Contracts team, you’ll help deliver essential logistics and operational services that support the safe, secure movement of sensitive assets across the UK. Your work will help ensure we protect what matters and provide a trusted service for our clients and communities.

You’ll take pride in delivering a service that’s precise, regulated, and built on trust. Every journey and every asset movement contribute to a safer, better future — and you’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity, security, and quality that our customers rely on.

What you’ll do as a Multi Skilled Operative
You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Carry out nationwide collection and delivery of consignments, driving secure light commercial vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes.
  • Follow strict security protocols for routes, site access, vehicle approaches, and incident procedures to safeguard sensitive assets.
  • Complete goods in/goods out tasks, stock control, internal stock movements, and quality assurance checks using our bespoke asset management database.
  • Conduct first-line vehicle maintenance and maintain communal areas within the working environment.
  • Support warehousing operations, including manual handling of items ranging from small assets to outsized furniture.
  • Provide administrative support for vehicle use, asset movement, and related documentation.
  • Participate in the alarm call-out rota and undertake occasional overnight stays to meet operational needs.

Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • A current, clean driving licence.
  • IT literacy and the ability to learn our internal asset management system.
  • An understanding of UK Domestic Driver Regulations, or the motivation to learn.
  • A flexible approach to duties, hours, and responding to customer needs.
  • A commitment to working with discretion in a highly regulated, confidential environment.

Vetting and checks:

The post holder must be able to attain and retain HM Government SC Enhanced security clearance. This is an intrusive process, and the post holder will be required to provide all financial, residential, and family information to the client vetting department which is held safely and securely. The vetting is reviewed yearly with a robust client criterion for passing the renewal.

The Postholder will be working in a strict “need to know” environment and as such extreme discretion must be used by the post holder regarding their role and their work location.

An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be required to ensure we can offer appropriate support for your wellbeing and performance.
