Samsung Electronics Europe Logistics (SELS) is the Central European logistics organization of Samsung Electronics based in Delft, Tilburg and Breda in The Netherlands. SELS functions as a logistics and financial control tower within Samsung Europe, with a focused role in logistics & supply chain strategy, innovation and governance. SELS has approximately 200 employees located in the Netherlands and Slovakia.

As IT Manager, you will be part of the MIS team located in Delft office which ensures the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the company's logistics systems. The team is responsible for managing, analyzing, and maintaining these systems, including Next ERP, TMS, WMS, and EDI integration.

Additionally, MIS plays a crucial role in developing and implementing new technologies such as PES and WMS systems to enhance operational efficiency. Furthermore, the MIS team is actively involved in improving the European Logistics Cost Process and integrating data into a comprehensive BI/dashboard with RPA Automation.

Role and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

Continuously review logistics business processes and systems in order to create the most efficient systems.

Develop & implement new processes and systems to support the business.

Business Processes:

Analyze existing business processes and/or systems together with logistics specialist/business analyst in order to have a clear understanding about the operational logistics processes;
Determine operational needs by interpreting functional requirements in order to propose changes in business processes and/or systems;
Propose changes in existing processes and/or systems and gain approval for changes in order to improve operational performance and increase efficiency;
Translate user needs into system requirement and design specifications for developments together
with Headquarters development Team;
Troubleshoot any logistics issues and dive into system processes to offer solutions and guide to
end users;

Projects:

Lead and manage small local project teams in order to jointly determine operational needs and create functional requirements;
Propose new processes and/or systems and gain approval in order to improve operational performance and increase efficiency;
Create new processes and/or systems by configuring, testing and implementing relevant SAP module(s);


Interface:
Develop and deploy interfaces between SAP and other systems (i.e. WMS, TMS) in order to ensure optimum flow of information, data accuracy and flawless processes


Training and Support:
Develop trainings and training materials based on changes in order to construct efficient trainings;
Act as a single point of contact for end users in order to provide basic technical support;
Solve process and/or system disturbances as quickly as possible in order to ensure optimum operational performance;

Who we are looking for
Bachelor/Master degree related to IT, Information Management Systems, Computer Science);
At least 5 years of relevant experience within SAP-Module one (LE/MM/SD/EDI);
Fluent in Korean and English and excellent communication skills;
Knowledge of SAP, SAP BI, GenAI;

Proven experience in SAP(-Module LE/MM/SD);
Skilled in Excel;
Ability to work with limited supervision;
