To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a Lead Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation. In this role, you’ll contribute both technically and organisationally to multidisciplinary projects, taking ownership of the electrical discipline. The Role
As Engineer E&I, you will act as the technical representative for the electrical discipline within project teams. You will work closely with engineers from other disciplines and departments to ensure integration of all systems. Typical project teams consist of 5 to 6 people, and you will play a key role in aligning stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring technical quality.

Your Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Representing the electrical discipline within multidisciplinary project teams
Leading technical discussions and aligning with engineering, procurement, and project management

Electromechanical Assemblies: Ability to design, integrate, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
3D Modeling: Proficiency in interpreting 3D models for assemblies and layouts.
Acting as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth coordination and integration
Translating technical requirements into practical designs and deliverables
Monitoring progress and ensuring electrical work aligns with planning, budget, and quality standards
Supporting project meetings and contributing to stakeholder management
Coaching junior engineers and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team
Your Profile
You are a technically skilled engineer with a strong sense of ownership. You enjoy collaborating across disciplines, and you’re comfortable taking the lead when needed. You’re eager to keep growing – technically and professionally.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
Design Tools: Experience with EPLAN (electrical design),

AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting), and any mechanical application (SolidWorks/Solid Edge) is an advantage
Corporate Platforms: Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems (Siemens TeamCenter) or similar.
Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
The ability to balance technical detail with a helicopter view
Organisational and planning skills to lead electrical scopes effectively
Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
Leadership potential and the ambition to grow into a management role
Royal IHC offers you:
A gross monthly salary between € 5500 and € 6600 +8% holiday allowance (based on 40 hours a week)
€ 0,21 per kilometre commuting allowance.
