As the Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, monitoring and arranging national and international transports. The Logistics Coordinator is a key part of the Project Logistics department, which are handling all IHC units.

Within this role as Project Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

Organizing (complex) transport for all kind of modalities, including the timely provision of related documents (customs forms, invoices, packing lists and payment documents).
Advise on logistics aspects of tenders, L/C’s commercial agreements or complex logistics solutions.

Your profile

To be eligible for this role, you must have the following:

a secondary level of education (MBO)
several years of experience within (project) logistics
specialist knowledge of international transport, (complex) project shipments, related shipping documents, customs procedures / formalities and legal requirements
knowledge in chartering (Bimco) contracts (not a must)
negotiation skills and feeling comfortable with high value projects/shipments
the ability to keep calm and keep an overview on the large variety of projects and orders
a proactive, hands-on and flexible approach
the ability to take the initiative and come up with ideas to improve our processes
excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both verbal and written
an EU work visa
VCA certificate
