What will you do?

You will develop and implement the sourcing strategy for "castings and forgings" worldwide.

You select strategic suppliers and conduct contract negotiations based on quality, delivery time and costs.

You will work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure technical specifications and optimise costs.

You monitor market trends, technological developments and continuously engage in supplier management and risk management.

Your profile

HBO/WO working and thinking level (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology, Purchasing or Logistics).

At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing of casting and forging products in a high-tech or heavy-industry environment.

Technical affinity; You understand requirements and specifications, and can translate them into manufacturability.

Fluent English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.

Willing to travel internationally.

You are result-oriented, analytical and communicatively strong.
