Road EO is developing a global road quality monitoring and prediction platform that advises public road authorities and commercial construction firms on when and where road maintenance is needed. By combining traffic and environmental data with novel sensor inputs like crowdsourced smartphone measurements and satellite observations, Road EO creates a unique big data pool analyzed through artificial intelligence. This approach enables customers to detect road wear and structural damages more cost-effectively than traditional methods, enhancing road safety, reducing operational costs, and minimizing repair downtime. Founded in 2017 and part of the European Space Agency Business Incubation program, Road EO aims to improve global road safety and comfort.
