About the job

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager for our Digital Transformation department to support our team in leading transformational projects and project teams across regions and business functions. As the right hand to one of our Project Managers, you will be supporting in driving the project’s lifecycle from planning, and implementation to closure, including developing the change management strategies to ensure successful change implementation. This includes the preparation of relevant project documentation (timeline, budget, resource planning...) as well as the follow-up on the project progress with the project teams in individual meetings as well as project update calls. You might also take over the responsibility to lead smaller projects or work packages that are part of a bigger project yourself. You will be working in a diverse, dynamic and performance-driven team with a good team spirit and humor. As a Junior Project Manager in our team, will build up your own project management experience, help you gain a broad network across functions within our company and become acquainted with RHI Magnesita’s business and the refractory industry.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Planning and managing timelines, workshop schedules and monitor completion of planned deliverables
• Support in developing change management and communication plans
• Support in the preparation of meetings with the top management
• Providing proper project status visibility through the maintenance of clean project documentation and regular updates

You are a strong communicator with a collaborative attitude. With your great enthusiasm and creative mindset, you bring new ideas to the table, not only as an individual but also together with your colleagues. You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. With your hands-on mentality, structured approach and analytical skills, you proactively seek to improve the status quo. You see change as something positive, can adapt quickly and you like to courageously help shaping the future of RHI Magnesita.

What we expect from you in terms of

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in business management/administration, IT, finance or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Languages

• English – Proficient/Fluent
• Any other language is considered as an asset

Work Experience

• Few years of relevant professional experience (internships etc.)
