About You
You are student in your final years of education who is interested to work in a multinational company. You are someone that enjoys thinking about processes and the improvement and understands the importance of processes to run a business. With your aspiration for more knowledge and proactive perspective, you can support an internationally oriented team. Being respectful and open for learning the ins-and-outs of a corporate environment is a great way to have a picture for a possible career after graduation. This will familiarize you with support the process design and exploring your boundaries when it comes to working independently. You are someone that is open minded to different cultures and backgrounds when working together within the company and team.
In addition, you have:
- One or two years before you graduate from a university with a degree with a strong affinity towards Supply Chain Management
- Fluency in English, any additional language will be considered an asset
- You have professional knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Teams). Experience with MS Visio is a plus
- Commitment to deliver before deadlines and able to work with autonomy within a team
- Open to work with a dynamic, culturally diverse team
About the Job
As a Global Inventory Management Assistant, you will be supporting the Global Inventory Management team in Rotterdam with a focus on our Inventory Governance processes. This is a fixed contract of 16 hours per week, for an entry-level position of 7 months (with the possibility to extend the duration of the contract). You will play a crucial role in documenting and supporting the standardization of our processes, providing an opportunity to take the initiative and work independently.
The purpose of this role is to aid the team with consulting different internal stakeholders worldwide (Material Planning, Demand Plan, Commercial Management etc.) to obtain relevant information about our inventory across all regions. You will also be responsible for translating your findings into documents that will standardize global procedures, guidelines, and policies implemented by our Supply Chain Planning departments all over the world.
Your tasks will include:
- Enhancing guidelines and documentations to ensure we communicate the adapted processes
- Process mapping using MS Visio
- Inputting and managing large-volume data in MS Excel
