We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in the Netherlands.
About the client and location
Starion Group is a European leader in Defence, Space and Cyber solutions, delivering mission‑critical services, engineering, programme support and secure digital capabilities. Tasks and activities
The scope of work will include:
- Business development activities with the Dutch MoD, with a focus on space‑related solutions.
- Identifying and establishing partnerships within the Dutch MoD industrial ecosystem.
- Reinforcing and expanding strategic networks and partnerships.
- Sales pipeline development and capture processes.
- Industry and ecosystem engagement.
- Cross‑Functional and Internal Coordination.
Skills and experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- Extensive (15+ years) business development experience in Defence, Space, Security, ICT, and/or institutional markets.
- Strong understanding of Dutch MoD procurement structures and needs.
- Full business capture lifecycle experience.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Dutch nationality is required.
- Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
- Must be eligible to obtain the required security clearance.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
- Prior service in the Dutch Armed Forces is considered an asset.
- Experience with Dutch MoD procurement.
- Strong knowledge of defence and space/cyber markets.
