Approximately 15 entities are established in the Netherlands, mainly related to exploration, holding and financing. The Netherlands office consists of an international, young and enthusiastic team. Frequent relations are maintained with colleagues in the exploration countries and Head Offices in Spain.

Currently we have a vacancy for the position of Financial Analyst.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for coordinating the analysis and accounting of operations and managing the administrative processes, in accordance with current legislation and the quality and control standards defined by the Group.

Core Activities

  • Comprehensive bookkeeping and general administration of RSB Dutch subsidiaries, covering accounting, tax, cash management, crude oil marketing and corporate matters, in close coordination with HQ in Brazil;

  • Preparing IFRS financial statements for Group monthly reporting;

  • Preparing annual financial statements and engaging external, internal and JV audits;

  • Cash management activities & reporting according to company rules and local requirements;

  • Support on tax filing and reporting, including VAT quarterly report, CIT and PAYE management;

  • Managing corporate files and invoice administration;

  • Formal representation in Dutch subsidiaries (coordination with other partners and with RSB stakeholders, in order to implement vote instructions and providing information to them);

  • RSB BV representation regarding oil commercialization activities (coordination with other parties and with RSB Commercial Department, in order to follow their instructions and providing information to them);

  • Presentation and coordination of Board of Managing Directors (approval annual financial statements and other subjects).

Professional Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor in Accountancy or in Business Administration.

Special Knowledge Required

  • SAP (FI) as an advantage (not mandatory, could be developed internally).

Additional Requirements

  • Dutch GAAP Knowledge (local accountancy standards).

  • IFRS Knowledge (international accountancy standards).

Professional background and experience

  • 3 to 5 years of financial multi-tasked experience.

  • Oil and Gas industry experience (will be considered a plus / not mandatory).

  • Experience in bookkeeping and / or accounting procedures.

  • Dutch tax system knowledge.

  • Multicultural exposure.

Languages

  • English (mandatory).

  • Spanish (will be considered a plus / not mandatory).

  • Portuguese (will be considered a plus / not mandatory).

  • Dutch (will be considered a plus / not mandatory).

Software Skills

  • MS Office Package with emphasis on Excel.
