About Us

QuantWare is the world's leading manufacturer of superconducting quantum hardware. As a high growth start-up with a global customer base, our mission is to accelerate the advent of the quantum computer. We push the boundaries of what's possible in our field. We work on making the world’s largest quantum processors, as fast as possible.

At QuantWare, we’re not just producing quantum hardware for the hyperscalers of tomorrow; we’re working on technology that will change the world. To make that ambition a reality, we need exceptional people who drive real impact. That’s where you come in.

As an Assembly Engineer at QuantWare, you’ll be hands-on in shaping the future of quantum computing. Your precision and problem-solving skills will directly support our production and R&D pipelines. From assembly to logistics, your work ensures our quantum hardware reaches the highest quality standards and gets where it needs to go.

What You’ll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

  • Assemble quantum hardware with precision, including soldering, wirebonding (manual and automatic), and integrating components for both production and prototype systems.

  • Own and improve our assembly processes, standardise workflows, troubleshoot issues, and automate where possible.

  • Execute quality checks and verify that each assembled product meets technical specifications before shipping.

  • Coordinate prototype builds, work closely with R&D and engineering teams to support new developments.

Supporting Responsibilities

  • Manage component inventory, from supplier selection to procurement and tracking.

  • Prepare logistics and documentation for both domestic and international shipments.

Your Profile

  • Hands-on experience with precision assembly, soldering, PCB handling, or wirebonding.

  • Comfortable with tools like Python, 2D/3D CAD software, Jira, and inventory systems.

  • You enjoy structured work, but also take initiative to improve processes.

Bonus if you also bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field.

  • Strong communication skills; you’re proactive, open to feedback, and collaborative.

  • Experience with service or maintenance work.

  • An interest in optimising supply chains and scaling production.

What We Offer:
