As a Material Specialist, you ensure the availability of raw materials and compounds to support smooth and uninterrupted production.

  • Plan and manage end-to-end supply of compound raw materials.
  • You will schedule in-house and intercompany compound production.
  • Ensure alignment between material availability and production demand.
  • You will manage the order and control direct and indirect materials, working closely with suppliers.
  • Monitor stock levels, balancing availability, cost, and waste.
  • Collaborate daily with Production Planning, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Support administrative activities, including invoice validation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across processes and costs.

Your Experience

You bring a structured and collaborative approach, with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of manufacturing environments.

  • Experience in materials planning, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Understanding of production processes and material flows.
  • Experience managing raw materials or production inputs.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high data accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Solid knowledge of Excel and SAP.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive mindset.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with planning/MES systems (e.g. POMS).
  • Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in compound or chemical manufacturing.
  • Exposure to intercompany material flows.
