Overview:
We are looking for a motivated process operator to join our team. In this role, you'll support daily operations by working with research and test equipment, including high-pressure autoclaves and a continuous loop reactor. This position is based at our Rotterdam R&D campus, located at the innovative RDM Campus in central Rotterdam.

Responsibilities:

• Operational support: Assist the operational team with various process and operational activities.

• Production assistance: Help optimize production planning and runs.

• Continuous improvement: Contribute to improving operational procedures, documentation, and HSE practices.

• Project involvement: Support project stages, commissioning, and startup activities.

• Test setups: Assist in designing and performing test setups for prototyping.

• Learning and development: Participate in training activities to grow your skills.

• Quality control: Ensure work meets HSE and quality standards.

• Maintenance support: Help with maintenance activities and coordination with third parties.

• Inventory assistance: Support material purchasing, inventory planning, and warehousing activities.

• Compliance: Assist in maintaining legal compliance and quality standards.

Skills and qualifications:

• Education: VAPRO-C or equivalent BOL-4 operator education. Additional technical education is a plus.

• Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).

• Experience: 2-5 years as a process operator, ideally in a technical or industrial environment.

• Skills: Basic knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and maintenance activities, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

• Attitude: Growth mindset with a collaborative and practical approach to problem-solving.
