Job description
ORTEC is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead global product positioning, messaging, go‑to‑market strategy, and market intelligence across ORTEC’s SCP product portfolio. This role is responsible for deeply understanding customers, markets, and competitors, translating product capabilities into differentiated value, and enabling sales and regional teams to win consistently. The role acts as a strategic partner to the Product organization and as the voice of the market internally, ensuring product decisions, launches, and messaging are grounded in real customer needs and business outcomes. This role will also help build and mature the global product marketing function at ORTEC.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Customer Understanding
- Develop deep understanding of ICPs, buyer personas, industries, and buying journeys.
- Lead continuous market research, customer interviews, and field feedback initiatives.
- Act as the internal authority on customer pain points, decision criteria, and value drivers.
- Translate insights into clear segmentation, targeting, and prioritization guidance.
Positioning & Messaging
- Define and own global product positioning and value propositions across the portfolio.
- Clearly articulate why ORTEC should win versus competitors in each segment.
- Ensure messaging is consistent, differentiated, and sales‑ready across all regions.
- Continuously refine messaging based on market feedback and competitive dynamics.
Go‑to‑Market Strategy & Product Launches
- Own global go‑to‑market strategy for new and existing products.
- Lead product launches end‑to‑end, including planning, readiness, messaging, and enablement.
- Ensure launches focus on adoption, pipeline creation, and revenue impact.
- Partner with regional teams to drive strong local execution and adoption.
Sales Enablement
- Equip sales teams with compelling narratives, proof points, and positioning tools.
- Develop and design core global assets such as pitch decks, demo narratives, value maps, battlecards etc.
- Support complex or strategic deals with tailored messaging when required.
- Drive adoption and effective usage of sales content across regions.
Market Intelligence & Research
- Build and own a structured market intelligence function within Product Marketing.
- Track market trends, competitor movements, pricing models, and emerging alternatives.
- Lead win/loss analysis to understand success factors and reasons for deal loss.
- Deliver actionable insights to Sales, Product, and Executive leadership.
Strategic Product Partnership
- Act as a strategic partner to Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Influence roadmap discussions with market, customer, and competitive insights.
- Ensure product investments align with market demand and commercial priorities.
- Help shape product strategy, packaging, and positioning decisions.
Product Marketing Function Building
- Help design and mature ORTEC’s global product marketing operating model.
- Define best practices, frameworks, and standards for product marketing execution.
- Enable Regional Marketing teams with scalable tools, templates, and guidance.
- Contribute to building long‑term product marketing capability within ORTEC.
Who are you
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS Product marketing with increasing scope and responsibility.
- Strong experience in enterprise or complex solution environments is preferred.
- Proven background in Product Marketing, including ownership of positioning, GTM and launches.
- Experience building or scaling product marketing capabilities and processes.
- Track record of acting as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering teams.
- Strong experience with market research, market intelligence, and win/loss analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with sales enablement and field marketing collaboration.
- Comfortable working in global, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong executive communication and storytelling skills.

- A permanent contract.
- Salary range (5800-6900 gross monthly) - depending on interview evaluations.
- Holiday renumeration of 8%.
