OrangeQS offers products to test quantum chip performance. Creating the test equipment and protocols needed to obtain relevant information about this performance requires extensive development time and expertise.
Our easy-to-use tools provide our customers with fast and reliable testing of quantum chips. Our products are the result of a seamless integration of our proprietary testing protocols and carefully selected measurement and control hardware components. All these developments will enable us to deliver industrial-scale quantum chip testing with high throughput.
Role
In your role as Quantum System Architect, your focus lies in the design, development and integration of our OrangeQS MAX and OrangeQS FLEX products.
You will work closely with quantum engineers, hardware developers, and software teams to define and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance test solutions.
Responsibilities
- System Design & Integration: Design the architecture for automated test systems tailored to superconducting or solid-state quantum chip technologies.
- Define system-level specifications: Translate quantum chip test requirements into detailed system specifications and interface definitions.
- Lead cross-functional integration: Collaborate with hardware, software, and quantum engineering teams to integrate cryogenic, RF, control, and data systems.
- System validation: Work together with test engineers to define unit and system level validation processes.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or a master’s degree in experimental quantum physics, electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience with complex system architectures, preferably within the quantum computing or semiconductor fields.
- Deep understanding of hardware-software integration, cryogenic systems and/or signal integrity in an RF environment.
- Hands-on experience with cryogenic and/or RF systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good knowledge of English.
