Overview:

We are looking for an HR Manager to lead HR operations, international mobility support, and a team of HR professionals. In this role, you will be the primary HR point of contact for a portfolio of key clients. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and support HR operations across our entities in Italy, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. You will also lead and develop a team of four HR professionals.

This role combines HR operations, international mobility, compliance, client management, and team leadership. Together, these responsibilities support an efficient and compliant HR service across multiple countries and client organisations.

Role Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Prepare, issue, and maintain employment contracts and related employment documentation
  • Check compliance with company policies, local labor legislation, and internal processes
  • Coordinate employee data changes and HR mutations, including contract amendments, salary changes, promotions, and transfers
  • Monitor and maintain accurate HR records and documentation

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for key clients, including ESA, Huawei, and other assigned accounts
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality HR support
  • Coordinate and deliver HR-related projects for clients
  • Advise clients on HR administration, employment processes, and workforce-related matters

Legal & Compliance Support

  • Support and coordinate employment law and HR compliance matters, working with legal advisors and internal stakeholders
  • Assist in resolving employee relations and labor law issues
  • Keep HR processes aligned with local employment legislation and regulatory requirements

Immigration & International Mobility

  • Support visa applications, work permits, and immigration-related processes
  • Coordinate and manage 30% ruling applications and related tax benefit requests
  • Act as a liaison between employees, authorities, and external service providers to support compliance with immigration regulations

International HR Support

  • Provide HR operational support to company entities and branches in Italy, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom
  • Maintain alignment of HR practices and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support country-specific HR administration and employee relations activities

HR Advisory & Stakeholder Management

  • Represent HR in management and client meetings
  • Advise managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee-related matters
  • Support organizational changes and HR initiatives
  • Drive HR projects and process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four HR professionals
  • Monitor workload distribution and keep HR service delivery on track
  • Support team development and performance management activities
  • Foster a collaborative and customer-focused team culture

Reporting & Administration

  • Monitor employee timesheets and oversee time registration processes
  • Prepare HR reports and management updates as required
  • Track HR metrics and maintain data accuracy

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or HR Management
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR administration, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Experience with immigration processes, visas, and 30% ruling applications
  • Experience supporting international HR operations across multiple countries
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Previous people management experience
  • Additional European language(s)
  • Experience working within a shared services or consultancy environment
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset

Reporting Line:

  • Reports to: Head of HR / Director Shared Services (as applicable)
  • Direct Reports: 4 HR Team Members
