You will be part of the Benelux Indirect Procurement Team, within the Cycles & Procurement (C&P) organization, supporting a diverse range of Danone entities across the Benelux region - including the Commercial Business Units in the Netherlands (Rijswijk) and Belgium (Brussels), Danone Place Amsterdam, Supply Points and the R&I center in Utrecht. Our team is responsible for sourcing everything our colleagues need to succeed: office services, IT contracts, HR solutions, marketing activations, and more.

As a Junior Buyer, you will focus on the Professional Services category as well as cross-categories initiatives through the Danone Impact Journey. You will contribute to meaningful projects with measurable impact from day one.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Cost, Cash and Compliance

• Engage with stakeholders to align on the Meetings & Events preferred vendor list and ways of working
• Implement ‘suppliers deactivation’ in systems
• Quantify the savings/cash flow improvement generated from supplier consolidation and new category card implementation

Strategy Execution: Travel-Hotel Solution

• Implement the category strategy on hotel negotiation & payment solution defined by Global via:
  • Engaging with relevant stakeholders (i.e. IT)
  • Engaging with the supplier chosen
  • Communicating the change to relevant stakeholders
  • Quantifying the outcome of the implementation (cost saving)

C&P Fundamentals: Contracts Negotiation

• To drive negotiation on commercials with selected partners for Benelux to renew contracts.

Danone Impact Journey: Respect Program

• Define the list of suppliers to be enrolled in the program and actions needed per category
• Monitor and coordinate the process with local and category buyers (beyond PS&TL) to ensure the program is in place

• You are a Bachelor graduate or master’s student with majors in Procurement or Administrative/Business Management areas.
• Excellent with Microsoft Office ( Excel & PowerPoint skills).
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• You are highly motivated, proactive and autonomous.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment
• You take ownership and enjoy working independently and in a team environment.

Key requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student in Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field during the whole internship period;
• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);

• Ideally available to start in October/ November 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;

• Fluent in English - spoken and written;
• Able to work from our Rijswijk office.

• Samenwerken met stakeholders om de voorkeursleverancierslijst voor Meetings & Events en werkwijzen af te stemmen
• Implementeren van ‘leveranciersdeactivering’ in systemen
• Besparingen/cashflowverbeteringen kwantificeren die voortkomen uit leveranciersconsolidatie en implementatie van nieuwe categoriekaarten

Strategie-uitvoering: Reis-Hoteloplossing

• Implementeren van de categorie-strategie voor hotelonderhandelingen en betalingsoplossingen zoals gedefinieerd door Global via:
• Betrekken van relevante stakeholders (zoals IT)
• Betrekken van de gekozen leverancier
• Communiceren van de verandering aan relevante stakeholders
• Kwantificeren van de uitkomst van de implementatie (kostenbesparing)

C&P Fundamentals: Contractonderhandelingen

• Onderhandelen over commerciële voorwaarden met geselecteerde partners in de Benelux om contracten te vernieuwen

Danone Impact Journey: Respect Programma

• Lijst opstellen van leveranciers die in het programma worden opgenomen en acties per categorie definiëren
• Proces monitoren en coördineren met lokale en categorie-inkopers (buiten PS&TL) om ervoor te zorgen dat het programma wordt geïmplementeerd

Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve en presentatievaardigheden, bent gemotiveerd, proactief en zelfstandig, en werkt graag samen in een cross-functioneel en multicultureel team. • Je bent ingeschreven aan een HBO/WO studie bij een Nederlandse universiteit gedurende de gehele stageperiode;
