The Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI) conducts scientific research on population issues (demography) and disseminates demographic knowledge to stakeholders in academia, policy, and society at large. NIDI is a research institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and is affiliated with the University of Groningen (RUG).
