Pricing Analytics is a newly established team within NIBC mortgage product and portfolio management. Our mortgage business excels in mortgage lending in The Netherlands. What will you do?
As senior Pricing Analyst, you will shape strategic initiatives, participate in, or lead cross-functional project teams and help build the foundational processes of our newly established team. Your expertise will drive the pricing of our mortgage portfolio, crucial for maintaining our market-leading position in The Netherlands.
Your Activities:
- You will have a key role in Pricing Analytics within Portfolio Management Mortgages, placing you close to the day-to-day business dynamics and giving you regular interaction with experts across the business, Finance, and ALM.
- Your analytical skills will be applied to data requests and modelling, including forecasting, explanatory analysis, and providing quantitative support for new business cases.
- Collaborate with Product Management Mortgages on price proposals, and develop innovative, strategic pricing solutions to keep our offerings competitive.
- Your primary clients will be the Pricing Committee, which includes the CEO, CFO, and other key decision-makers. By delivering clear and actionable insights, you enable them to make informed, strategic decisions for the company.
- Help set up new initiatives, where your input is not only welcomed but actively encouraged.
- Improve our models, both in terms of methodology and implementation, using Python, SQL, Power BI, and Excel. With the introduction of our Cloud Data Platform, you will focus on automating and enhancing the presentation of current reports and developing new insights.
- Take over existing activities from other teams and develop additional insights to drive business value.
- Act as a mentor to a junior colleague, enhancing their skills and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Your Team:
You’ll join the newly formed Pricing Analytics team, which consists of three colleagues. As a sub-team within a larger department, you’ll benefit from additional learning opportunities in Financial Analytics and Product Management, giving you exposure to a broad range of skills and expertise.

What do you bring?
You have solid knowledge of mortgage loans and are curious to expand your expertise. In addition, you are a flexible team player who can handle ad hoc request and tight deadlines. Next to that you:
- Have 4-6 years of relevant work experience in pricing analytics or a similar analytical field.
- Are proficient in Python, SQL, and Power BI.
- Are committed to creating solutions that deliver long-term value and can adapt to future developments.
- Know how to bring new business cases to successful implementation or are eager to develop this skill.
- Have a strong commercial mindset, enjoy collaboration, are a go-getter, and excel in stakeholder management.
- Are confident in delivering presentations and know how to tell a compelling story with data.
- Like taking initiative, are not afraid to ask questions, and are keen on personal development.
- Are fluent in Dutch and English.
