About the job:
Based in The Hague in the Netherlands, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join NCI Agency Enterprise Services (NES) that provides and manages technical, creative and administrative services to the NCI Agency. NES provides direct services for the NCI Agency’s major locations (Brussels, The Hague, Mons, Oeiras and Braine-l’Alleud), and the guidance to the NCI Agency general service functions at the geographically dispersed locations. NES includes eight branches: Security; Facility; Design and Delivery of C4ISR Prototypes; Travel and Transport; Supply and Stores; Conference Services; Creative Media Support and Registry.
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Technician who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
- Design, preparation and manufacturing of all kinds of high precision components, assemblies and equipment for mobile and static test facilities and complicated sheet metal products according NATO and industrial standards.
- Application of advanced welding techniques (ARC, MIG and TIG welding.)
- Application of spray painting and a large variety of mechanical, chemical joining and EMI/EMC shielding techniques.
- Wiring of electrical installations

About you:
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
- Higher vocational training at middle technical level (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent with 2 years of post-related experience with development and manufacturing of mechanical instruments at an intermediate level; or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience.
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor designing software or equivalent software.
- Knowledge of advanced welding techniques of oxy-acetylene welding, arc-welding and TIG/MIG welding.
- Knowledge of Milspec electrical wiring systems.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
