You know your way around IFRS and SII but you are eager to start and translate CSRD (as part of ESG reporting) into reports and formats which our business units will use for group reporting. And from there you deliver clear insights in your review of those reports, so our stakeholders have all the right information to make qualitative and timely reporting.

This job offers you a monthly salary between €4.958 and €7.083, depending on your experience. This is based on a 40-hour work week, excluding a 13th month and holiday allowance.
 

Your impact as a Financial Accounting Specialist at NN Group

Financial Accounting & Reporting (FA&R) of NN Group Finance is responsible for the Group consolidation and the Group consolidated external financial reporting of NN Group, both under IFRS and Solvency 2 and soon ESG reporting (CSRD). Financial Accounting, part of Group Finance and Reporting of NN Group, is committed to deliver accurate and timely financial information to our stakeholders and support them in internal and external financial reporting based on IFRS as well as non-financial reporting based on the CSRD.

You will contribute to the preparation and publication of NN Group’s quarterly interim accounts and the content and the preparation of the Annual Accounts, part of NN Group’s Annual Report. In addition, you will actively be involved in the execution, development and maintenance of NN Group’s consolidation and reporting system for both IFRS reporting and CSRD reporting.

You coordinate activities and the reporting process for the colleagues in the BUs and group departments involved. At the same time, you develop new (standard) reports and identify opportunities for further improvement in both IFRS and CSRD reporting.

Who you work with

You become part of Financial Accounting and Reporting and will be working directly in the Group Financial Accounting team. You will focus on the accounting and reporting tasks as well as changes in the processes to made. You will be part of a team of 5 experienced accounting and change specialists who on a daily basis work on continuous improvements of our group reporting processes in both IFRS and CSRD.

What your investments deliver

You will work with us to:

• Realise accurate quarterly closings in time
• Discuss findings with other departments involved in the value chain
• Consult management regarding compliance aspects of financial and non-financial reporting and discuss issues in these matters with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain adequate supporting documentation and evidence of the closing process

Who you are

You are an expert when it comes to financial reporting (IFRS and SII) and with your entrepreneurial mindset you are not afraid to speak your mind. You are really passionate about Data & IT. With your great communication skills and good dose of self-confidence you go the extra mile to advise your management on ways to make the process more efficient. In addition, you have:

• At least a relevant bachelor’s degree
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting or reporting role (preferably within Financial Services)
• Strong accounting knowledge and solid organisational skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
