As a tech lead you are part of the OutSystems factory team at CIO IT Services which ensures you of working together with the top of the OutSystems community at NN ánd enables you to work with multidisciplinary teams and divers projects throughout the year.

This job offers you a monthly salary between €4959 and €7084 depending on your experience. This is based on a 40-hour work week, excluding a 13th month and holiday allowance. You will also have the possibility to work 32 or 36 hours per week.

What you’re going to do

• As part of the OutSystems factory team you function as a catalyst for OutSystems knowledge within your DevOps team. Working in such a way ensures us that our (junior) internal colleagues understand what OutSystems can do and how they should work with OutSystems in line with our Center of Excellence’ way of working. When development within the DevOps team has come to an end (you’ve finalized the project milestones), you’ll switch to a new project within a new team and your previous team will handle the Ops and smaller Dev changes
• As an OutSystems tech lead you are responsible for following an Agile Scrum approach when developing business applications. You support feature delivery demos, production deployments and supporting overall solution rollout procedures
• You support the product owner by converting user demands into technical requirements for the sprint backlog. You then align these with DevOps team members and analysts to arrive at the best possible solution
• You are responsible for the application architecture, quality of the developed code and fixing production issues. You take an active role in determining possible improvements, realizing adjustments while testing your own and other’s code
• You lead by example and coach other engineers in- and outside your team to work in OutSystems to our company’s best practices and way or working

Who you are

• At least 5-8 years of experience with OutSystems technologies / software development
• Experience with being involved in architecture and coaching more junior peers
• A critical thinker at a Bachelor/Master level
• A social and communicative strong person, so that you can lead conversations with the business and our architect. Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Experience in the financial industry (life insurance) and internal applications is also a plus
