3D Modeller - Parttime
Manometric
Job description
Transforming Care Through Precision
Not too long ago, a man walked into our office with a guitar under his arm. He had written a song for Manometric - and for the first time in three years, he could play again. All thanks to a small, perfectly fitting hand brace. That’s what we build. At Manometric, we design and produce custom orthoses using proprietary 3D scanning, smart software and scalable production - working directly with hospitals and clinics across the Netherlands and expanding into Germany.
Our "Duo" braces represent a breakthrough in automation, a perfect blend of proprietary technology and human precision. To keep up with the growing demand for these life-changing products, we are looking for a focused specialist to own the Duo production sprint as a Part-time 3D Modeller. This is about mastering a process that delivers freedom to our patients. We are looking for someone with a long-term mindset, as there may be opportunities to evolve this role as you progress through and complete your studies.
Precision at scale
As a part time 3D modeller, you are the dedicated engine behind our most popular products. Your goal is simple but vital: ensure every brace is perfectly modelled by 11.30am, checked, and fixed if necessary, ready for production before the clock strikes 12:00. By owning this specialized workflow, you allow our broader engineering team to tackle the most complex orthopaedic challenges, ensuring Manometric remains at the cutting edge of the industry. This is how you make an impact:
In the early days of the onboarding process, you start your day at 8am, diving into the latest 3D scans. Using automation, you’ll oversee the digital creation of each brace, performing manual adjustments where necessary to ensure a flawless fit.
You take pride in a "right first time" mentality. With a target QC error rate of less than 4%, your eye for detail ensures that every patient receives a medical-grade product they can trust. When errors do occur, you take ownership of correcting them the same day, within a dedicated window after the morning production sprint.
You’ll start by mastering the Duo. As you prove your speed and precision, you will be trained on our Solos and AMCP2 lines, eventually becoming an expert across our entire automated product range.
We understand the value of autonomy and remote work, but we believe in the power of culture. Your journey will begin with in-house training to immerse you in our quality standards and team spirit, before transitioning to a flexible, hybrid schedule. This would begin as 3 days in house before transitioning to 2 days in house if certain production benchmarks are met.
You’ll know you’re successful when the “Duo” queue is cleared before 11:30 AM each day, your designs consistently pass quality control, and your smooth handovers keep the workshop running seamlessly. You are the stable force behind the scenes that helps our innovation scale.
