Operations

Job description

Redefine operational excellence in healthcare

Not too long ago, a man walked into our office with a guitar under his arm. He had written a song for Manometric - and for the first time in three years, he could play again. All thanks to a small, perfectly fitting hand brace.

That’s what we build. At Manometric, we design and produce custom orthoses using proprietary 3D scanning, smart software and scalable production - working directly with hospitals and clinics across the Netherlands and expanding into Germany. As we grow fast, operations become more complex: planning, production, logistics and clinical coordination must work as one system. That’s why we’re hiring an Operational Innovation Lead. Someone who can structure complexity and build the operational backbone for our next stage of scale.

The role you play in our growth

As we scale, operational challenges shift from execution to architecture. The challenges you’ll work on are systemic: redesigning how Orthopaedic Technicians are deployed across locations through smarter planning logic, improving scalability of production and operations as volume grows, and redefining parts of the client journey by leveraging digital platforms and automation.

In this role, you translate daily operational friction into structural solutions. You observe, analyse and rebuild the systems behind planning, production and clinical coordination. Working closely with teams on the floor, you turn scale-up ambition into operational infrastructure that works in practice. You report directly to Sander (Head of Operations & former founder) and operate as part of the operations leadership team, while collaborating closely with the CTO, Head of R&D and founders.

Success after 12 months means we are able to scale significantly, potentially doubling in size, while maintaining strong operational excellence.

Job requirements

Who we are looking for

We’re seeking someone who can turn operational complexity into scalable systems - bridging execution with strategic design. You:

  • Have experience in fast-scaling environments (scale-ups rather than corporate), with roughly 2-5+ years of relevant experience

  • Proven track record of improving operations; optimising production, logistics or warehouse environments, redesigning planning systems, or running impactful operational projects

  • Experience launching or implementing operational or digital tools from scratch is a strong plus

  • Entrepreneurial ownership; founder/COO-type experience in early-stage environments

  • Analytical but deeply practical - you translate complexity into workable solutions

  • Strong systems thinking: you naturally think in flows, automation, leverage and bottlenecks

  • Socially strong and able to embed yourself within teams; you build trust by working alongside people

  • High energy, hands-on mindset, and a preference for understanding reality on the floor rather than from slides

We’re specifically looking for operators - people who have built things - not consultants.

What we offer

We believe the opportunity to reshape orthopaedic care already makes your heart beat a little faster - but of course, there’s more:

  • A competitive salary in the range of €5,000 - €7,000 gross per month, aligned with your experience and impact

  • A solid pension scheme with 10% employer contribution

  • 25 vacation days

  • Fully on-site role, embedded in operations

  • A clear growth path tailored to your development

  • Technology that directly impacts thousands of lives

  • A fast-growing company with real ownership and autonomy

  • A multidisciplinary team (R&D, clinical, software, design)

  • An open, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas genuinely matter
