Job description

Welcome to the new reality of orthopaedic care

At Manometric, we are transforming orthoses and prosthetics from things people have to wear into products they love to wear. Small products, big impact: being able to cycle again, play the guitar, or lift a grandchild. We are a med-tech startup specialised in improving orthoses and prosthetics with 3D technology. We have built our own proprietary 3D hand scanner, combined with innovative brace designs and automation software. Every day, we work directly with hospitals and clinics to help new patients.

Our team consists of orthopaedic specialists, industrial designers, and hardware and software engineers, all working together to change the O&P industry for good.

The role you play in our growth

Manometric has set a bold ambition for 2026: to uphold the most consistent, well-designed, and emotionally engaging brand in orthopaedics and prosthetics. As a Freelance Graphic Designer, you play a key role in bringing our brand to life across all touchpoints. Your work ensures that every interaction with Manometric reflects the quality, care, and precision behind our products.

You will work closely with our Brand & Growth Lead to roll out our visual identity across both print and digital assets. From day one, your designs directly contribute to how patients, clinicians, and partners experience Manometric.

What you will do

You are responsible for applying Manometric’s house style consistently and flawlessly across internal and client-facing materials. Your work includes:

  • Updating existing printed assets, such as product manuals

  • Designing new brand touchpoints, including leaflets, presentations, and advertisements

  • Developing strong templates (print and digital) that enable teams to create their own materials

  • Supporting other teams and initiatives with your graphic expertise, such as product packaging

For now, this role is focused on producing high-quality assets that align perfectly with our visual identity, while continuously raising the bar in execution.

Job requirements

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is as obsessed with detail and consistency as we are. You:

  • Have experience applying a house brand style to both print (DTP) and digital design

  • Are proficient in tools such as InDesign, Figma, and Photoshop, and comfortable working with Canva, PowerPoint, and Google Suite

  • Ask the right questions before designing, avoiding unnecessary complexity

  • Can work independently while proactively collaborating with teams to gather input

  • Quickly understand and master a brand style, and suggest improvements where relevant

  • Keep projects moving and communicate clearly when you need input or clarification

  • Are willing to go the extra mile to deliver a true 10/10 result

  • Can organise and prioritise multiple requests in a clear and structured way

The ideal collaboration

We are looking for a teammate, not a transaction.

Ideally, you enjoy sparring, seeking feedback, challenging ideas, and co-creating. We invite you to work from our Den Haag headquarters to support close collaboration and fast iteration. Testing designs with users is a central part of our process. At Manometric, knowledge is shared openly. We have many experts in-house to help sharpen your work. Like Adyen, we don’t hide behind email. We welcome challenge and feedback. One of our core principles is “Duty to be Direct”. You shouldn’t just feel free to be direct with us, you have a duty to be.

The next steps

  1. Submit your portfolio, showing examples where you applied an organisation’s brand style

  2. Submit a cover letter

  3. You’ll receive a short design assignment that lets you think along with us on a real Manometric graphic challenge. Less of a test, more of a first collaboration.

  4. Terms of collaboration are open for discussion

If this sounds like an exciting collaboration, feel free to apply!
